I think society is calling for harsher punishments with celebrities these days. OJ has been convicted recently and many believe this is due not only to his current crime but his crimes of the past. I think the days of celebrities getting away with crimes to coming to an end. Society will not stand for this behvaior any longer.

celebrities and the law

I agree it's not fair that celebrities can do whatever they want and never get in trouble with the law. The problem is that these celebrties pay alot of money to get lawyers that are friends of the judge that is hearing their case and they are free. normal everyday people cannot do that and it isn't fair.

well, i think that in gerneral that those people can get away with the law becuase they are rich and they have the "power" to do what they want.

Why is it that all professional athletes, and all celebrities seem to get priviliges in reguarding the law. All over the news it talks about celebrities getting caught with drugs, getting DUI's, and breaking the law. I think that its ridiculous that just because they have money they get to get away with things like this. An example of celebs who break the law would be lyndsay lohan, paris hilton, and O.J Simpson. All three of these people should have been locked up for life or for at least a year. Instead of them going to jail they just pay off the attorney and get away with things. I really hate how they can just get away with whatever they want where the if the average joe got caught he would be locked up for life. Please repsond to my blog and leave your opinions.
